As first seen on Nickelodeon, the award-winning franchise, Little Ballers tells the stories of tweens competing on AAU basketball teams from the parks of New York City to the community centers or South Bend, Indiana.

Created by Crystal McCrary McGuire, the critically-acclaimed series goes inside the homes and lives of these amateur athletes, to reveal that basketball is more than a game—it is a deep passion that holds special meaning for each of them: building character, escaping poverty, getting an education, living the American Dream, and bonding with family.

Against the backdrop of NYC, the first installment of LITTLE BALLERS, co-executive produced by Crystal McCrary McGuire, Amar’e Stoudemire, and Lupe Fiasco, aired on Nickelodeon in 2013 as a feature-length documentary. It tells the story of four diverse and determined 11-year-old boys and legendary Coach Billy as they set out to win an AAU championship.

Skylar Diggins, WNBA player, assembles an AAU team made up of girls from Indiana, who then bond as teammates and friends while playing basketball.

Six 11- and 12-year-old girls meet as teammates and quickly form a sisterhood over the course of the season. Coached by Diggins’ stepdad, Moe Scott, these young phenoms have. a deep passion for the game which holds special meaning and high stakes for each player: getting an education; team building; conquering physical challenges; improving self-esteem; and providing that girls are just as good at basketball as boys.
